not much else. Seriously, today was a pretty laid back day, and nothing much got done. We even left the apartment earlier than usual! (ugh, and even earlier for tomorrow! ><) All we did was walk around some more, and I was proud of myself because when we needed to head back I KNEW WHERE WE WERE. HELL YEAH.
(I wasn’t sure how we suddenly ended up back at the place we began in the morning, but I knew where we were from there! xD )
When we were walking around, we ended up at the city cathedral. My parents wanted to check it out, and when we walked up, I couldn’t get in because of my shorts. Ah well, I’m too sexy for that church. Literally. LOL….ANYHOO I just chilled outside in the warm sun (it’s getting a bit cooler and tolerable out nowadays) and waited for them to come out.
Then we were off to the museum. I’d been to the museum before, but it seems like this time they set it up a bit differently. It was a bit easier last time to navigate, since it was pretty chronological. IMHO: I really like Picasso overall as an artist, but I am probably a bigger fan of his sketches and his early work, before he got into his Blue Period and Cubism and such.
As we were leaving, I saw this guy making really cool painted glass things, for about a Euro each. He wasn’t that well off, but just about EVERYONE passing by stopped to take a look at what he’d painted. Myself included! I bought some, and as I put them in my bag I saw that he’d actually painted them with his fingers! (too poor for a brush I assume.) Ahhh I’m glad he was getting lots of business. He was really good!
Then, we stopped at two bakeries, I got some delicious cookies…and pastries…and oh my god I’m going to gain weight stop looking at me like that I AM NOT A FATTY.
Oh wait. Yes I am. :]
I ate two of them (chocolate chip and hazelnut) when I got home and promptly took a nap. The trip is winding down, but I definitely think my body feels it. Ahhhh only one more day in Barcelona! Let’s make it a good one! :P
